Cheers to 2026 and progress back... my 72” belly feels constantly under pressure, even when empty (considering how much fat is packed into one, taut area). It would be great to grab a drink with a friend and not uncontrollably burp the entire time while struggling to stay upright

Struggles having a 68-inch belly at 32-years-old. After letting my weight spiral out of control this past year and gaining 130 pounds (bad lifestyle choices from a cross-country move; new, sedentary, office job with an abundance of fast-food and snacks), I wanna share my story.

After finally stabilizing my weight around 315 pounds for months now, I really hope I didn't pack on any extra weight through the festivities in the past week. I will have to check and measure to make sure this meat balloon of a belly hasn't swollen any bigger past 72-inches, too

I (M32) gained 130lbs in the last year, almost all in my belly (now 68” around). At this size, no matter what shirt I wear or bench I sit on, every time is a risked button popping off or chair collapse. If I tested the resilience of this bench longer, might have been disaster!

After seeing me for the first time in a year—140lbs heavier with a 70” gut—I let the same friend (from my prior post) film a video to send to our other old roommate… who was also blown away. Having someone so close to me witness my life now firsthand was a comforting experience.

The proportions of the world (and human body itself) were not built for a man with a 70” belly… maneuvering through daily life is endlessly impossible: from struggling to just load laundry, to barely being able to tie my shoes. Never imagined I’d deal with this, let alone at 32.

Saw my closest college buddy for the first time in almost a year this past weekend… WHY did he have to put me on blast like this for all of our old friends to see 😭😂 but seeing me last at 170-pounds and now with a 70-Inch gut, the reaction is definitely understandable…

As a 32-year-old guy with a 70-inch belly, every single day, I get reactions or comments from strangers in public about my admittedly-bizarre body shape. Be honest… if you passed me on the street, what would you think or conclude? Would you comment, react, or ask me questions?

After #gaining 130 pounds in just one year—almost all of it straight to my #belly—stairs have become one of my biggest enemies. At 68 inches around, my stomach throws off my balance, pulls me forward like an anchor, and bounces with every step like it has a life of its own.

From the night I tried on my old security uniform after gaining 140 pounds and a 69.5-inch belly… Something else I struggle with having these proportions at only 32 is getting in-and-out of tight spaces, like the clearance at a gas pump after parking just close enough to reach.
