Abdul Carter says he will only address Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump one time: "Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things. Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us. If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world. That doesn't mean that we have to spread hate. That doesn't mean that me and Jaxson hate each other or we have beef. I sit next to Jaxson every day - we're close, we talk. Jaxson Dart was asked about continuing to take hard hits: "I understand the question, but this is football. I'm going to get hit if I'm in the pocket or outside the pocket. I've played this way my whole entire life. It shouldn't be any shocker to anybody if you've followed along with my career. We're not playing soccer out here. You're going to get hit, things happen. It's just part of the game."

Jaxson Dart was asked if he needs to change anything about his game after four visits to the medical tent in his first eight games: "The narrative's not necessarily accurate of four concussion checks. I was taken into the tent three of those times for things that had nothing to do with my head. They have their own operation of kind of how they handle things. I'm still getting used to this game. I'm getting used to the speed of this level. In college, you can watch my tape, I very rarely slid. But this is a different beast. So, for me, I’ve got to be obviously a little bit more responsible when I'm in the open field. But I felt like, quite honestly, I was getting better at it each and every week."
