Yesterday, Sentinel-3 imagery showed smoke appearing to come directly from Pumping Station No. 2. This was following a strike nearby at the Riyadh Refinery. New, clearer Sentinel-2 imagery shows only smoke coming from the flare stacks outside the main pumping station, rather than the grey industrial area itself. If you watch the video, you can see where the smoke location seems to shift from the outside area to the core pumping station itself. With low resolution imagery it can be tricky to pinpoint where things are exactly coming from, especially as no previous smoke was spotted on Sentinel-3 in historical data in recent time. We've updated our initial post as new imagery has given us a clearer picture of the situation. We'll always try to be accurate on our reporting as new information comes in.

🚨Satellite imagery appears to show vehicle tracks cutting across the terrain around Dhubab Airport in western Yemen, near the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Explore and Compare: The tracks follow several off-road routes and appear consistent with the movement of heavy military vehicles across the area. The activity may relate to operations by Yemen government-aligned forces during efforts to regain control of the airport from Houthi forces.
