you can try, but you won’t erase daniela’s roots. yes, she was born in the USA, but that doesn’t erase the fact that she’s a daughter of immigrants, raised within latin culture, with deep latin roots. as she herself said, identity is not a strategy, it’s blood, heart, and truth. if you actually cared about latin culture, you wouldn’t be attacking her like this, especially when being openly proud of her roots in the current u.s. political climate only puts her at risk. using anti-immigration rhetoric to target a 21-year-old girl just shows ignorance. daniela stands with immigrants. maybe it’s time to stop attacking her and focus on the real villains.

katseyeworld posting a video of daniela KNOWING the massive hate she’s been receiving for months (especially this week) feels incredibly cruel. they know it will generate engagement from people attacking her, criticizing the way she dances, the way she looks… and they still choose to post it. how is this supposed to help the situation katseye is already dealing with? that post felt like a calculated move to shift attention away from what’s going on with manon. and using daniela in the middle of all this is cruel. if you truly care about the girls, join the boycott and sign the petition to remove Pop Star Academy from Netflix. we will not support a system that values engagement over its artists well-being. 🔗:
