The universal human urge to stare down a towering, mechanical manifestation of industrialized warfare - armed with naught but your own fleshy self and several kg of shaped explosives - and prevail.

Working on SteelFront and wanting to drive all the vehicles has only increased my desperation to try and remedy this.

Counterintuitively, defensive positions have to be designed to NOT stop attacking vehicles, giving bots clear pathfinding onto the capture point itself. Some drivers still need some time to figure it out...

Was asked to make it video-ready, so added more detail and some redesigns for Ravenfield. Had to can the baked lighting but some postprocessing seems to do the ticket to make it look less bland.

I think the average FPS player is more interested in exciting firefights over getting firing solutions. Didn't stop me from trying, though.

Got behind on some environment stuff I was doing, so tried seeing what a Touro would look like up close for some motivation (a bit of animation + sfx work needed)

[Ravenfield - Official SteelFront Mod] Assaulting the Waterworks in the Shuguang Dreg Strip. ADF grunts don't call it the "Murder-Maze" for nothing. (Detail pass on the map ported into Ravenfield; alas, didn't have time to make enterable buildings)

[Ravenfield - Official SteelFront Mod] Ajax squad gets caught in a sandstorm. Accidentally running into an enemy mech while half-blind isn't thing that can happen at Chalk Pond. Be thankful I can't mod that awful coarse white dust from the basin getting into all your good socks.

Some interactive fanart for the venerable Simon Roy - KICKSTARTER IS TAKING LATE PLEDGES's Citizen One comic: the direct support variant of the Universal Rover, liberating Ravenfield in Reunion's Only Slightly Authoritarian revolution! (Balance pass still needed, ignore the buggies tanking multiple 100mm shells)

[Ravenfield - Fractured Frontier mod] WIP - Surface engagement (Particle effects are placeholder; need to figure out a way to make them change depending on the map so they can work in any environment)
