Set in Georgia after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the film follows the determined head of security at a women’s health clinic, as she works to protect patients and staff. We witness firsthand the toll of Georgia’s six-week abortion ban — the fear, the courage, the impossible choices — and the relentless protests outside the facility. Films like this are essential to having real conversations about what’s at stake when people can’t access the care they need. #thedevilisbusy #plannedparenthood

Can’t wait for KATRINA: Come Hell and High Water on Netflix August 27. I’m featured as a participant. The film is directed by Geeta Gandbhir, who directed two films - “The Perfect Neighbor” and “The Devil Is Busy” - for us this year; Samantha Knowles and Spike Lee. Federal, state, local officials were just completely unprepared for something they knew was going to happen. Hard to believe it’s been 20 years.
