UPDATE FROM BAMUTAKUDDE. The Chairman's Children's Party was a success! 🎉 Over 200 children from Bamutakudde & neighbouring villages came together as they prepare to go back to school tomorrow. We cooked together, ate together, danced, played football, swam & enjoyed theatrical plays by the children. I organize this every holiday so every child feels they belong to this village. Their smiles say it all. Wishing all our children a great 3rd term! #Bamutakudde #BackToSchool #CommunityFirst #AkaaloAmatendo

Exciting news from #Bamutakudde! This one I can’t keep it to my self. As we enter the planting season, I reached out to the Commissioner General of Uganda Prisons Service, Can. Dr. Johnson Byabashaija, for support with maize seed for our village. He generously donated 1 TON of maize seed! We received the consignment today. Our people are excited and ready to plant. This means food security & income for our community. Thank you CGP for supporting the people of Bamutakudde!

From DREAM to REALITY Two weeks ago, as part of our resource mobilization strategy for #Bamutakudde Village, we announced a vision to launch Bamutakudde Catering Services an enterprise designed to create employment for 10-15 women in our community. I am thrilled to share a major milestone. Chef Godwin, a leading professional chef in Uganda, responded to our call. On Sunday, he and his team of 6 chefs volunteered a full day to train our women in professional culinary skills, including pilau rice preparation and professional fruit carving for catering. Beyond the training, Chef Godwin has committed to: 1. 10 full scholarships for 10 women for a 4-month professional culinary program 2. Donation of start-up equipment (saucepans, food warmers, dishes) 3. Strategic partnership on his major catering projects This is a powerful example of skills transfer, private sector - community partnership, and women's economic empowerment in action. Sincere gratitude to Chef Godwin and his team for investing in rural women. #SocialEnterprise #WomenEconomicEmpowerment

I come to you in need, dear friends. As Chairman of Bamutakudde Village, I carry a heavy burden on my heart for my people. I want to us to join hands and provide sponsorship to 100 children this term at only UGX. 60,000 per child to facilitate their education and stay in school. Every child in Bamutakudde deserves to sit in a classroom, eat a hot meal, hold a pen and a book, open a textbook and DREAM BIG. Every 60K you give changes a life. This is not just charity, it is an investment in the future of these children. You can donate using this link We are working with Grooply ioTec Limited on this crowd sourcing campaign .

This evening in #Bamutakudde, we hosted the Mukono Chief Magistrate, His Worship Paul Matyama Anderson, for a community dialogue on justice. We tackled real issues: the role of LC1s in administering justice, bribery & corruption in courts, case delays, and bail applications. The people next to God put aside the robes to come mix with the community. Awesome, honest conversation. Justice must be felt by the people, not just served from the bench. Thank you, Your Worship, for coming closer to the people.

FROM HAND HOE TO TRACTOR: MECHANIZED FARMING COMES TO BAMUTAKUDDE! The rains are here and it's planting season in Bamutakudde! While we had secured maize seeds, fertilizers and hoes, we have received an exceptional boost. Device Solutions Uganda Limited visited Bamutakudde Village and offered us a tractor with full implements for clearing, tilling and softening the soil to open ground for everyone with land. They fully sponsored the operator and the fuel as their contribution to Bamutakudde's production. Even better, this is sustainable: the tractor and operator will be stationed at their centre in Nakifuma and will remain available to all Bamutakudde residents you only need to fuel! Within hours, a huge acreage was cleared and we have already planted maize. We anticipate an amazing harvest! Thank you, Device Solutions Uganda Limited, for powering our vision of food security and commercial farming. #BamutakuddeRising #Agriculture #FoodSecurity #Uganda

My appreciation goes out to Mukono District Local Government especially the LC 5 chairman Owek. Francis Lukooya Mukoome for honoring their promise following the meeting we had over the weekend. They have opened our roads in Bamutakudde village and neighboring villages. They have also started working on the bridge at the place where River Musale intersects with the road. Together, one village at a time. #Bamutakuddee
