Tony Benn, a Labour cabinet minister in the 60/70s, speaking on Michael Moore’s Sicko documentary back in 2007. He is what the masses are still voting for thinking that Labour are still like this. He spoke sense, and was ‘Old Labour’. He speaks of the demoralisation of a population causes them to be compliant, and that debt (usury) and ill health makes the situation get far worse. I remember watching this years ago and heard him speak and thought ‘this is my politics and it’s a shame we don’t have that now’.
