The Sixers situation got weird when Bob Myers came along. These two guys were rivals during some tense Warriors/Rockets series in the 2010s and then they were both working for the Sixers just like that. And Morey was essentially answering to Myers. Hard to imagine Morey liked that. As for Myers, I get a lot of people think he’s super overrated (there’s a decent argument to make) but he’s well-respected around the league for a reason. The Sixers need a complete culture shift, and Myers will find the guy/help make that happen.

Interesting and honest answer from Kevin Willard about the state of Maryland basketball and why he hasn’t fully committed to Maryland long term amid reports about him taking the Villanova job.
