QB Michael Hiers has won everywhere he's been. He was 14โ1 at Briarwood, leading the Lions to the state championship in 2017. He threw for 2,672 yds & 22 TD, leading all 5A QBs in pass yds, comp % (68.8%), & total TDs. At NW Mississippi CC, he threw for 4,519 yds & 34 TD in just 2 seasons & helped them win the JUCO national championship in 2020. In 2 seasons at Samford, he threw for 6,600 yds & 54 TD w/ a 74% comp, taking them to the playoffs in 2022. That year he was a Walter Payton Award finalist & was 1st in FBS or FCS in comp % (77%) & comps per game (30) & was 3rd in pass TD, scoring, & scoring per game. After making noise in 2024 at the Tropical Bowl & the Buccaneers' minicamp, Hiers signed w/ the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the #CFL. Hiers was cut during their 2025 training camp & is currently a free agent. It's time for Skip Holtz to bring Michael Hiers home. Let's see what he can do in the #UFL.

Birmingham has signed QB Andrew Peasley out of Wyoming. I love this signing. Been saying for a while now Peasley would make a great #UFL QB. Peasley started his career at Utah State before finishing at Wyoming. In two years there, he had a 16-8 record as a starter & threw for 4,395 yds & 37 TD. He also ran for 1,273 yds & 12 TD. He was a 2x All-Mountain West Honorable Mention selection. He was in the '24 draft class & signed w/ NYJ as an UDFA. Was cut after preseason along with former Stallions QB & 2024 #UFL MVP Adrian Martinez, whom the Jets brought back on the practice squad. Peasley has been a free agent since then. Assuming no #NFL team picks him up after this season, he could be a great player for Skip Holtz to develop for QB1 in 2026. Welcome to BHAM, Andrew Peasley!
