New One Piece ep wasn’t too much of an improvement from higher priority Egghead episodes but the most notable improvement was definitely the sound design The Yasopp scene was the most obvious, but even here I bet Toei would’ve used the same generic building breaking sfx before

I can’t get over the use of OST here. How the tempo matches Luffy’s steps as suspense builds to Loki’s reveal, it going silent to keep you wondering how he’ll react, to the leitmotif picking up again transitioning into a high fantasy theme to reveal Elbaf It’s so peak 😭
