Some Muslims have been calling me a liar for this tweet I made. This is the records of my chat with my friend, I intentionally showed other parts of our chats not related to this so you will not say I am texting myself. When I tweet, I do so with consciousness about the fact that there are people here that know me personally. People as far back as high school, med school and even those I have had worked with at several point. While Taqiyya is permissible in your religion, it would be foolish of me to lie in order to make a case for my faith as I would not be excused for such.

I was at the Easter retreat of April 2009 when Pastor Kumuyi experienced the heartbreaking loss of his dear wife, Mrs Abiodun Kumuyi. No one knew of the incident during the course of the retreat except of course for some leaders as Pastor Kumuyi continued to preach at the retreat with all other events going on as usual. We all eventually knew after the retreat when the news was made public. He went on to preach the sermon at her funeral. Pastor Kumuyi’s steadfastness and dedication to this gospel of the Kingdom continues to inspire me. At his elderly age, he stills travels different nations every now and then in order to propagate these eternal truths. What a man!

One of my rituals for several years into the hours before my birthday has always been prayers. I particularly miss my good friend and classmates in medical school, Chilaka who also happens to be my birthday mate. We always meet at the car park in LASUCOM to pray into our birthdays. Beautiful to have a family to continue the tradition with; the boys and their mum prayed for me into my birthday and it just made it all beautiful!

PDaniel could have used better words to express himself in that podcast, but to totally dismiss him and crucify him will be very unfair. I was privileged to have a chat with him, he did mentioned those things were said as a response to a question asked by someone in their ministry going through the same phase in their marriage. The incident happened in their third year of marriage, they are now in year seven! His words were the actual events that happened, it doesn’t mean he is advocating that it’s the best thing to do or how to handle such situations in your marriage. He was only saying things as it actually happened which does not necessarily mean that’s how he will handle same situation now. Like I mentioned to him, X(Twitter) is primarily an agenda platform, bcs tell me why people are already making injunctions and conclusions about how Pastors handle their marriage. We have all done and continue to do things we are not proud of and the best thing we can do is to continue to grow and be better versions of ourselves. Pastoral life is not easy, that side of their story should not have been made public or at best, not communicated in the ways and manners he did. However, pastor often employ every manner of strategies to drive home their points in order to bless their congregation, occasionally, they will goof in the process. Ultimately, the incident did not break them. They are together still doing the ministry God committed in their care. It’s a story of a stage in their journey, not their current reality.

Imagine a country of about 200M people with 36 states with no single female Governor! As the current Leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi potentially has an opportunity to lead the country as the Prime Minister after the next general election if her party wins. Her mates and people of her intelligence are being wasted in Nigeria. Compare this video for instance with that of the Senate President of Nigeria during proceedings. Nigeria deserves better and that’s exactly what we are all calling for! We have the resources to develop and compete at the global stage, we however lack correct leadership!

When the Lord impressed on my heart the need for The Alabastar Box Missionary Foundation The Alabastar Box Missionary Foundation , one of the first thing I did was to share the vision with my ministry Partner. She was so excited because the Lord has been impressing the same thing to her and she has been meaning to discuss it with me. The Church don’t longer support Missionaries and mission works like before. The call to be a Missionary does not need to always be associated with poverty nor a life of loneliness in remote places. They deserve all the support and encouragement possible from fellow Believers. The Alabastar Box Missionary Foundation is a mission trust-fund ministry where we hope to raise resources for Missionaries all over the world to aid their ministry. We launched the ministry a week ago at the Mission Conference and Village outreach at Oke Odo village. Over a hundred students from about six higher institutions attended for 3 days where they were inspired about missions and were able to get involved in reaching out to the villagers with the gospel. If you feel the Lord is calling you to be a Missionary, you are being called to a great work!
