I will be installing a dash cam in every vehicle we own after seeing what happened to a good friend yesterday. He purchased a 997 Turbo Cab late last year. Beautiful car, pristine condition. He sent it to one of the best shops in town for a full mechanical refurbishment so he could enjoy it without any worry. 7 weeks later, the car was on its way to him for delivery, a short drive from the shop, when this happened on I-10. Absolutely heartbroken for him, and justification enough after seeing this video of why dashcams are a necessity in this day and age. So, Twitter, what Dashcam am I buying three of?

In all my years of owning German cars I had no idea until today this was a thing. Apparently all German cars have a setting that will dimly illuminate the tail and front driving light to give the car visibility while parked. In my car, key out, car off, just use the left or right turn stalk to illuminate that side of the car. Neat! 📸

Just dropped the Cayman off for its almost 4 year PPF refresh. Video enclosed showing what nearly 4 years of doing group drives does to the PPF. Luckily it looks like the film saved all the paint but we’ll find out when he peels it off this week. Bonus brand new 992.2 GT3 in his shop getting PPF!
