So LeBron hasn’t been on powerhouse regular season teams for a while now. I think they could be an excellent team and be formidable and win about 48 games. I think winning 48 games in the eastern conference Is gonna be a good season. Also, when LeBron change his teams, they tend to get off to a slower start. When he went to Miami, they started out 9-8. On Monday, the Blazers board of Directors have a meeting. And i have no idea what’s going to come out of that meeting. But it could be a declaration of all our war. The city wants the Blazers to sign a lease to get the money to renovate their arena. The quotes about this are tremendous. The thing that comes along with this is, some other outlets as well as the athletic have reported that the league was looking at a 2nd deal involving Kawhi. And the trade to Toronto was slowed down. The other thing that’s interesting to me is Daktronics didn’t come out with a statement that completely denied this whatsoever. They had a crisis PR man say something like Kawhi is not under contract right now. It was not a full denial. This to me is extraordinarily troubling. The lack of response for days on end. Brian Windhorst with an update about the Portland Trailblazers relocation drama: “It’s realistic but it’s definitely not a done deal, when the Allen estate sold the team they did a very short lease. Leases are usually 15-20 years, they did a 5 year lease. And there’s almost no protection in the lease for the Blazers to leave. Tom Dundalk isn’t interested in giving any money for this renovation. And it’s a messy one. The last thing i want you to know, earlier this year Adam silver said relocation in the NBA is not on the table. But as you know the nba is looking to expand to Las Vegas and Seattle. Those would be the two markets you’d want to move a team to. But that’s not going to be allowed by the NBA owners. They want to expand there, and get 7-8 Billion dollars for the expansion fee. Seattle and Las Vegas are not options.
