David , a young Cancer survivor on ELLEN . His fave band is #KISS and they shock the hell out of the kid, showing up for his BD. Notice. Paul( hell on manners and he looks you in the eye while speaking to you- I KNOW) kneels down.. to be AT the boy’s level- not talking DOWN to him- but TO him. Ok. What is worse? Paul Stanley having backing tracks toward the end to help AND ADMITTING IT? Or this trash? I’ll take the backing tracks. I’m not gonna slam DLR TOO MUCH-he LIKE PAUL put his ass out there for 50 yrs( or damn close to it) But damn. It’s time. Or use some help. The ‘purists’ who frown on it don’t get that our heros are going away. Aging out. I’ll take them vocally flawed. There are acts now auto tuned , lip synced .. that have NEVER performed vocally live- EVER. These cats did. To their detriment. Not everyone is Elvis and passes w/ their vocals better than ever(22 yr career). Just Sayin. #DLR

PERFECT answer. There is a REASON he has always been my guy in #KISS. I’ll preface by saying Paul is a man, not a Deity and is flawed as any human. There. Now having said that.. as a Kiss fan paying attention : WHO in the band over and over and over and over has said.. questionable at best statements, embarassing or even ATTACKING half / or all the fan base? Not this guy. I’ve had the good fortune to be around Paul Stanley quite a few times. And as I’ve said before. MANNERS matter. Paul thinks before his mouth opens. More often that not? Eloquence/ and wise / humorous statements will ensue. When speaking w / Paul he engages, eye contact, more often than not a small a physical touch.. and questions/ statements back. I l have loved the rockstar and his band for 50 years in 2026. I CAN say about Paul.. I admire / love the MAN for WHO he is. ( I’m straight as an arrow before that shit starts) Nope. I’ve never been a rubber stamp fan for anyone. I disagree sometimes. ( 2020 merch scam for example. I’ve discussed ad nauseam) And I’ll SAY SO unlike alot of sychophant fans that will NEVER do THAT. Ed did incredible for no practice. Paul the consumate pro he is… you can see him cue Ed over his shoulder toward the end. HE did not mess up. Did… better than they probaby expected. Think Ace did a tad pre-solo but WGAF? #KISS : 1997

#AceFrehley #ShockMe lesson excerpt. This is for all the a$$holes over the years that have told me #Kiss isn’t a REAL BAND. Just think to remember all this while made up, adrenaline pumping.. AND displaying showmanship in 7” platforms. Guitars come and go and can be replaced or traded for another as time demands. No so for the musicians. Yes. Muscle memory is probably a huge part. But still…. Lotta mental effort went into Kiss, and just think- they were kids when most of the backbone of the catalog were produced. Amazing, really. 💙🙏🏻 #RIP

#KISStory : The Ace takeover! Part Uno. Ace has admitted to “pounding some Stoli” Vodka…on the way to the Tomorrow w/ Tom Snyder sitdown. He was… lubricated!🤣 Dunno what is funnier. Seriously. #franKENstein has done it again. He has re- edited the entire album. #MakinLove here has the studio track cut in w/ Japan 77 live footage. This guy has talent. Major talent and does more w/ vintage Kiss than Poophouse could EVER do. I LOVE the Paul/ Ace head bob. Rehearsed… sure. But cool. Cannot believe Paul & Gene are just leaving Kiss in the dustbins of history. Damn shame. While this man? Kicking ass so bad, he needs a list of names to keep up. #KISStory : The #LostCities tour hit Columbus, Ga. Peter said “he could not go… “ Paul said “ I don’t think so, PAL” and drum tech Ed Kanon assumed the mantle of THE CAT , playing entire show. Show was very vanilla but Ed did a great job. Here is Paul and Gene trying to be light… while Ace practices licks. As an aside. Peter never said he could no go again. So? Lesson perhaps learned. Um.. wouldn’t count on it…. #KISS : 1997

The solo is Ace- centric played staight not sloppy w that Kulick flair. Eric. Does more w/ this song than Peter or EC could have dreamed of doing. Unexpected rolls and a triple kick sound. Paul just at the top of his vocal game. And Gene is Gene. Never missing. Never wavering. Love my goddamn band, man. #Tokyo : #Kiss : 1995

This day in #KISStory: For around $45 #KissAnimalizeLiveAndUncensored could be yours on VHS!! Released this date: 41 yrs ago today. Taped Dec 8/84 in Detroit. Gene with a wig due to the Runaway movie haircut, BK’s FIRST NIGHT as a PERMANENT member of the KMEN. BK HAD subbed for MSJ and even both in same show once. Mark St John had only played 2-1/2 shows. TOTAL since tour inception on my 21st BD/-9/30/84. Arthritis or a beard for something worse… really does not matter. He was gone and we all really know WHY. ( RIP) Paul’s voice was reaching Zenith … soooo much better than in the 70s, and I STILL would rate him top notch then … as well. Here the #SopranoWail was scorching ! This group would go from 84-91 when the most valiant warrior Eric Carr lost his battle w the C Word. #KISS/80s
