The reason we still see things like this is because many people prioritize what shouldn’t be prioritized. Look, marriage is good. Relationships are beautiful too. But it will help you to understand that this generation is different, and if you don’t find someone who is genuinely ready to love, respect, and choose you, it’s okay to stay single. Especially my fellow ladies. You can’t be getting depressed five times a week because of a man. The energy you should be using to grow, build yourself, chase your dreams, and become the best version of yourself gets drained while you’re busy trying to survive a toxic relationship. A relationship should add peace to your life, not steal it. Marriage is not a compulsory achievement. Relationship is not a life requirement. If you find someone who genuinely loves you and brings you peace, cherish it. But if all it brings is confusion, anxiety, tears, and constant heartbreak, then it’s simply not worth it.
