Britain had the rain. So why the shortage? Just five months after England’s eighth wettest winter, reservoirs fell from 94% full to 75.3%. No major new reservoir in 30+ years. Population up 11.5 million. Nearly one litre in five lost through leaks. This isn’t just about the weather. It’s about failing to build, store and maintain.

🚨 | Margaret Thatcher - ‘The state has no source of money other than the money that people earn themselves. There is no such thing as public money there is only taxpayers money’ 💥 1st female Prime Minister understood public finances, the 1st female Chancellor does not. 💷 Rachel Reeves is robbing the public blind through taxation. 💡 Remember there is no public sector without the tax from the private sector. 🧨 The Labour Party are doing their best to ruin the private sector.

Burnham is wrong on Brexit. He says it has done “more harm than good”. But since the referendum, real GDP growth has been: UK +13.2% France +12.8% Italy +10.7% Germany +7.8% Spain +21.5% If Brexit is the simple explanation for Britain’s weak growth, what explains France, Italy and Germany? The European growth story is a lot more complicated than the slogan.

🚨 The Government has wheeled out Darren Jones to promote Digital ID. But this guy LIED on Question Time — claiming most small boat arrivals were women & children. ❌ Latest data for 2025: 79% are adult men 82% are under 18-39 If he’ll lie on TV, why trust him on Digital ID?

Are the BBC “promoting the far right” by showing British flags at the Last Night of the Proms 🇬🇧? Or is it simply the far left who are embarrassed by Britain? Oh and singer has union jack dress. The majority and centre are proud of our country? #lastnightoftheproms

🚨 Starmer says Brexit made Britain poorer. But the GDP data tells a more awkward story. Since the Brexit vote: UK real GDP: +12.1% Germany real GDP: +6.0% Britain is not booming. Nobody serious should pretend it is. But Europe’s supposed economic engine has grown at barely half the UK’s rate. So why is Starmer’s big answer still more Europe? This wasn’t a reset. It was a relapse: more Brexit blame, more Brussels, more excuses. No wonder voters are walking away from Labour.

🚨 63 MIDWIVES QUALIFIED — BUT NO JOBS Around 63 newly qualified midwives in Wales are reportedly still without NHS jobs. They’ve trained. They’ve qualified. They’re ready to work. Yet there aren’t funded posts for them. At the same time, the Welsh Government continues to spend money on overseas programmes and offices, while the NHS also carries substantial non-clinical staffing costs. This is what frustrates people about public spending. If we can afford to train frontline NHS staff, surely we should be able to afford to employ them. What should come first: frontline healthcare or everything else? Chat with Mike Graham 🇬🇧

🚨 | Keir Starmer - ‘Welsh Labour is the living proof of what Labour looks like in power. A blueprint for what Labour can do across the United Kingdom 🔸 NHS waiting lists worse than England 🔸 Educational outcomes worse than England 🔸 20mph speed limits - slowing the economy 🚂 Welsh Government took over the running of the railways - it operates Transport for Wales which has the worst customer satisfaction for train operators in the UK. ✈️ Welsh Government took over the running of Cardiff Airport. Despite relatively few flights, it was named among one of the worst for flight delays and the airport is now valued at around £15m - a third of what the Welsh Government paid. 💷 Analysis shows that the Welsh NHS may overspend by £800m by next spring and all health boards have been placed under higher levels of financial scrutiny. 🔐 During the pandemic, the blueprint for Welsh Labour lockdowns included telling shops to close certain aisles so customers visiting would feel safe. 🗳️ The Welsh Government now wants to increase the number of politicians in the Senedd by 60% despite a lack of public support. This is estimated to cost each year more than the free school meals the Government said they could no longer afford to provide to vulnerable children.

🚨 | Lisa Nandy tries to justify Labour’s Digital ID scheme — she couldn’t. Starmer is trying to deflect from his failures as Prime Minister ahead of conference. ❌ Digital ID won’t stop illegal working or the boats He’s simply trying to resurrect a failed Tony Blair idea.

🗣️ Starmer at PMQs: Tories left a £22bn black hole 📈 But under his government, borrowing Aug–Mar £55bn higher than forecast 👷 That’s not filling the hole — it’s digging it twice as deep 📉 Starmer misleading: The OBR didn’t validate the £22bn & borrowing worse under him

🚨 600,000 people had to get out of bed every morning just to pay the £4.7 BILLION hotel bill for asylum accommodation. Starmer promised to clear the hotels. Instead, his government went to COURT to block removals. Interview with Peter McCormack 🏴☠️🇬🇧🇮🇪 Full interview (Link in first reply)

Why should the rich pay a higher rate of income tax? The top 1% already pay around 27% of the UK's income tax bill. What if everyone paid a flat 25% instead? Earn £100k, pay £25k. Earn £1m, pay £250k. Same rate, more tax paid. I discussed it with Mike Graham 🇬🇧 . What do you think?

📺 | Dale Vince - gave £5 million to the Labour Party in one year & does not care what they did with it. 💷 Makes money from building wind and solar parks. 🗳️ Labour won then announced expansion of wind farms and solar parks. He will more than make the money back from either taxpayer or energy bills? Good interrogation by Mike Graham 🇬🇧.

🚨 | Devastating floods across the county I live in Rhondda Cynon Taf 😒 🌲 Chopping down thousands of hectares of trees, often to make way for wind farms exacerbates the flooding issue. ➡️ Fewer trees - water runs off mountain faster - causing rivers to overflow. 🤡 You won’t hear any politician mentioning this though. 🌊 In addition trees hold soil in place, so without them more erosion, which clogs up waterways. ❤️ Thoughts to all the families affected yet again by the flooding.

🚨 | Police out in force in Wales zapping cars going faster than 20mph. 💷 £31m of taxpayers money being spent on changing road signs ahead of the national change to 20mph on many roads next month. 🚒 Firefighters going to show educational videos to drivers apparently.

🚨 Labour’s Transport Secretary doesn’t even own an electric car… 💸 But she wants your taxes to fund chargers and subsidies for those who do. 🚗 Many working families can’t afford an EV — yet they’re expected to pay for others to have one? ❌ Out of touch. Typical Labour.

🌍 BBC: “This summer takes us more closer to a dangerous world — because of climate change.” 🌡️ Temperatures above average - but the average is based on limited historical data. ☀️ For most, it was simply a sunny summer. Dangerous world? Or just sunshine being sold as crisis?
