🚨 | Devastating floods across the county I live in Rhondda Cynon Taf 😒 🌲 Chopping down thousands of hectares of trees, often to make way for wind farms exacerbates the flooding issue. ➡️ Fewer trees - water runs off mountain faster - causing rivers to overflow. 🤡 You won’t hear any politician mentioning this though. 🌊 In addition trees hold soil in place, so without them more erosion, which clogs up waterways. ❤️ Thoughts to all the families affected yet again by the flooding.
