🚨Spoiler Alert‼️ This is Aang’s very first action sequence that opens the film. While it was crucial to deliver the high-level action quality expected of an opening, it was even more important for this sequence to ground his emotional start to the story and define who he is as the Avatar. Lauren and I set the narrative and action foundation, and the story team helped immensely to carefully craft and bring it to completion. And thanks to Jake, Aaron, and the art team, who created all the phenomenal art, overwhelming mood, and atmosphere, we were able to bring such a powerful sequence to life.
