Our healpalestine team In north Gaza, at great risk to their lives, repaired a clean water well and managed to get trucks of clean water to displaced people east of Gaza city. We are one of the only NGOs still operating in the north, and while the need is immense and the suffering unimaginable, I want to acknowledge our brave staff and volunteers making this humanitarian aid possible. 🇵🇸✌🏻☮️

A few years ago I brought some baseball gear to Gaza to play with some of the youth there who wanted to learn our national pastime. Yesterday one of my teammates, a gentle soul named Mustafa from our national Palestine Team, was killed in Gaza. I wonder how many of the kids I played with that day are still alive. 🇵🇸✌🏻☮️

Last September, healpalestine’s Gaza Program Manager, Islam Hijazy, 30, was killed at a police roadblock in Gaza. She left behind two small children, who had not seen their father since October 2023. Today her children were finally reunited with their father. HEAL has continued to support the children's basic needs in Gaza - food, clothing, education - as it is our duty to their late mother, may God rest her soul. We are overjoyed at seeing them reunited with their father and we will continue to help them as they grow. 🇵🇸☮️✌🏻

There needs to be an immediate ceasefire to stop the daily killing of innocent women and children in #Gaza and the start of peace negotiations. ☮️✌️🇵🇸

It came at the most perfect time, as we were able to secure some food in the private market for a reasonable price and started cooking today in our kitchen in northern Gaza. Your support can ensure that we will be able to feed 10,000 people for the coming weeks, a small drop in an ocean of starvation in Gaza, but it is a start. This is a video of our aid team back at work this morning.

8y old Mariam weighs the same as my 2y old son. She is being slowly starved to death, as are hundreds of thousands of other Gaza children. There are no words to describe how cruel, horrific and criminal this is, by the Israelis and our American government. To hell with anyone who supports, justifies this or looks away.

After the brutal bombing that tragically took the lives of Ward’s parents and entire family, our Gaza healpalestine team located her uncle, who gave us permission to enroll her in our mental health program. We are committed to providing Ward and other orphans with the medical care and humanitarian aid they need. We cannot brings Ward's family back, but we will stand by her during this tremendously difficult time as she begins to navigate life without her parents and siblings.
