Joshua Baez just had an EXTREMELY unlucky game He went 0-4 with a strikeout and a HBP, but that doesn’t tell the full story - 2nd inning: 107.1 MPH lineout | .630 xBA - 4th inning: 106 MPH forceout | .190 xBA - 7th inning: 111.9 MPH groundout | .540 xBA It’s only a matter of time before these hard-hit balls start resulting in hits #STLCards

"I don't care if he hits 60 home runs down there." Mike Claiborne pours cold water on the idea of Joshua Báez earning a promotion to the #STLCards this season The power's loud (16 homers, 4th-most in the minors), but with his strikeout rate north of 30%, there's still work to do

The #STLCards came into 2026 fully embracing the rebuild While they missed the playoffs, October baseball was never expected Given that, they had an incredible season. Rookies stepped up, the team reached 9 games above .500 and they were in the playoff hunt up until early September It is puzzling to call the first season of the rebuild anything less than a resounding success

Nolan Gorman keeps making his case 👀 He homered again tonight to make it 8 since July 26th For those who say it’s just homers, Gorman has seen improvements in other areas Here are some metrics in AAA through July 25th, compared to July 26th and beyond: Hard-hit%: 41.5% ➡️ 48.3% O-Swing%: 45% ➡️ 29.2% BB%: 9.2% ➡️ 15.1% With the infielder arbitration eligible this offseason, what do the #STLCards have to lose by bringing him back up and seeing what he can do?

After Missouri’s loss to Texas A&M, Bernie couldn’t believe what he heard Mizzou’s own left tackle said the Aggies KNEW the plays before the ball was even snapped “How can you put together an offense that the other team can scope out so easily and stop so easily because the defense knows what plays are coming?” 📺
