A painting by Caravaggio — The Taking of Christ (also known as The Kiss of Judas). Stolen from a museum in Odesa in 2008. Found years later, seriously damaged. Restored piece by piece by Ukrainian restorers. I saw it today at the Metropolitan House on the grounds of Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.
