🎬 HANDSOME GUYS (2024) 🇰🇷 Two men move into their dream countryside house, only for suspicion, chaos and a very unwelcome supernatural presence to turn their fresh start into absolute madness. The movie’s secret weapon? Misdirection. Everyone keeps judging Jae-pil and Sang-gu by their appearance, while the real danger is hiding somewhere else. The comedy comes from that constant collision between perception and reality. It’s a wild blend of comedy, horror and mistaken identity, with the house becoming a pressure cooker of increasingly absurd situations. The film was also deliberately influenced by the tone of American comedy-horror and draws from Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.

🎬 LAND OF BAD (2024) Liam Hemsworth’s JJ Kinney is thrown into an increasingly desperate situation, while Russell Crowe’s “Reaper” provides the crucial perspective from above. The film’s strongest element is the contrast between the soldier fighting on the ground and the operator trying to keep him alive from a distance.
