Too many universities are selling immigration, not education. Last year, about 250,000 foreign students took up taxpayer-funded student loans to pay for their courses in the UK, worth £4bn. This is not fair. A Reform UK government will make sure that the British taxpayer is not paying for foreign students. Let’s put British students first.

We need to talk about universities. For too many young people, it’s just not worth the time, money and wasted years anymore. Far better to avoid the debt trap, get an apprenticeship and start earning, learning and moving forward with life. Only Reform will be honest about the Great University Scam.

Our heroes in uniform deserve protection, not persecution. They shouldn’t have to think of the lawyer behind the terrorist before pulling the trigger. Labour’s legislation will open the floodgates to vexatious IRA claims and leave our veterans living in fear of a knock on the door. If we can’t stand up for our soldiers, how can we expect them to fight for our freedoms? I visited Belfast to explain why leaving the ECHR is the way to fix this. 👇

This St George’s Day, let’s celebrate the immense contribution that England has made. I’m proud of our country but too many of our young people are ashamed. That changes under a Reform government. Our Patriotic Schools Initiative will: 🇬🇧 Place a duty on schools to fly the national flag and display a portrait of the monarch prominently on school premises 🇬🇧 Roll out a patriotic and balanced curriculum teaching the value of our country and our history instead of ‘decolonising’ it. 🇬🇧 Give the Education Secretary powers to intervene when teachers get political in the classroom or pursue an ideological agenda in schools. Let’s put patriotism back into the classroom!

How long before this Home Secretary wakes up and sees that none of her measures will actually work whilst we remain members of the ECHR? A year? Two years? It took the Tory Party about 3 years, a General Election wipeout and pressure from Reform to see the light. I can’t see the same happening with the Labour Party. Unless they change policy on the ECHR, it’s all hot air.
