We DID IT. From Kanyakumari to the mighty Karakoram, 5,000 km of consistency, pain, patience, and pure determination. And it took 86 days. 2 hours. Today, I proudly become the first human ever to run from Kanyakumari to Karakoram. This was never just a run. Today, while running towards the Atal Tunnel via Solang Valley, my heart felt heavy after seeing this. In a place so beautiful, how can you do these ugly acts? As runners, as travellers and especially as locals (it seems to be done by some local shopkeepers) this is our responsibility. Please don't do this to the mountains 🙏 Request to the local administration to keep watch on such acts and fine the culprits. Putting signboards alone won't help. 📍Solang Valley, Manali.

This was the first time we saw Sufiya struggle. We have been with her since Kanyakumari, and until this day, she made every single day look easy. But this day was different. We were running through the forests of Madhya Pradesh. The roads just kept going up and down. After hours of running on them, her ankles started giving up. You could see the pain in every step she took. For an ultra runner, your legs are everything. When they stop supporting you, nothing feels easy anymore. There was a point where we honestly felt that even 30 km would be difficult today. But she never once spoke about stopping. She just kept saying, “We’ll do 50….. we’ll do 55.” And somehow, by the end of the day, she completed all 67 kilometers. Watching this from so close made us realize something. Being mentally strong doesn’t mean you don’t feel pain. It means you keep moving even when your body is asking you to stop. She knew pushing through could make the injury worse, but we think she knows her limits and also knew why she had started this Run. Today wasn’t just about finishing 67 km. Some people adjust their dreams to fit their comfort. She cut off her comfort to protect her dream. Mid run she stopped and asked for a scissor, Watching her cut the hair mid-run just because it was slowing her down… made me realize — this journey is bigger than a world record. Anything that comes between her and the dream… goes. That level of focus is rare. Hair is something people attach beauty to. Confidence to. Identity to. Most people would think ten times before cutting it. Day 04 of the Run Across India - Kanyakumari to Karakora done with 54 KM 🏃♀️🇮🇳 With every passing day, the challenge is getting tougher because of the extreme humidity and heat.
