Walking the warrens of the old city to the ghaats unveils a timeless, living history, and kudos for closing many streets to cars. But why allow 2-wheelers? The incessant honking, billowing smoke & insolent insistence on a owning 4 ft wide gully made walking impossible. Allow bicycles & small carts, but get rid of the motorbikes, and add some fines for unnecessary honking!
