Sebenarnya, saya ke Bangkok untuk attend Global News Forum (speaking engagement) organised by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union dan bukan untuk buat news coverage. Tapi sebab subject yg dibincangkan sangat bagus & penting, saya terus buat skrip, record VO, buat Standupper (pakai iPhone jer) dan whatsapp semua tu ke newsroom RTM kat Angkasapuri. Jadi ler berita ini… enjoisss uolz

Tak sangka, sambutan luar biasa — tengok jer video ini. Program Santuni Madani di Kpg Sungai Ramal Dalam ini membuat saya tak sabar nak conduct the next session of conversational English untuk semua peringkat umur. Program Santuni Madani ini mengenal pasti isu sosioekonomi di kpg kita dan kita cari jalan penyelesaiannya. Problem statement: Need to improve English proficiency. Potential solution: Learn English using the ‘peace corps’ way of learning new languages. In the late 80s I was trained by arwah Tn Hj Fauzy Halim at Centre for Modern Languages to teach students using the Peace Corps ‘module’ and we coached MARA sponsored students bound for America to improve their English. Yg menarik hari ni ada 3 generasi datang dan belajar bersama-sama — anak, ibubapa dan atuknenek. It was a fun session indeed.
