We’re excited to announce that the snapshot for Season 1 will be taken on the 9th of January, with Season 2 kicking off immediately on the same day. The distribution of the rewards will begin on the 13th, though more details will be shared closer to that date. We believe rewarding users with just $1–$3 for using a testnet doesn’t make any sense. Instead, we’ll focus on rewarding fewer users with much bigger rewards!

This test should take 2-4 weeks, once Google Play approves the update. Once it's done, we'll know what our users can get! Unlike most Web3 competitors, which reward users only with airdrop tokens, we want to stand out and reward users with cash if possible. That's why we're working hard with our partners to deliver this solution! We'll stick with the airdrop approach if earnings aren't enough for every active user.
