Phenomenal speed rush negated by a phantom illegal contact penalty. 4th down and Romello Height shows why they drafted him. He has elite burst and bend.

This is such a high-level play. This is right after Cooks was flagged for OPI. 1st and 20, down by 5. Seattle is running C2. Brock has 2 options. If the MIKE shades to Evans's side, he'll work a chevy to Cook/Farrell. If he shades 3 rec, he'll work Evans on a basic route(10-12 yrd in route). He has to move Emanwori, to open up the window to Evans. Watch the look off and the tight window throw. All while his LG is getting driven into his lap. Curious who everyone thinks this kind of play reminds them of.

Well hello, Jacob Cowing. Nice to see see that speed on the field. Completely runs off the MIKE and deep half safety against this invert-2 on a dagger concept.

This is what went into Upton Stout's benching last night. 4th down and goal line on the same drive. same stack formation, both interference plays against Diggs and gives up both. Don't know if it was a play they prepped for and were upset with him not playing it the way they game-planned or if he wasn't getting physical enough at the stack point or attacking hard enough. Clearly, though, giving up the same route vs interference in two key moments cannot be tolerated.

Some of this stuff from Trey Lance is still hard to wrap your mind around for a guy going into his 6th season. This is a screen and go. They're trying to fake a screen pass outside to draw Dugger up to defend it, have the TE fake a block then run a rail route. He never even looks to, or pumps on the screen. Also, makes Dugger's play on it more impressive.
