Hwasa sunbaenim mentioned #SUNGCHAN in her recent live " There's a story behind it. And thankfully, RIIZE's Sungchan-ssi took the time for this, so I was really grateful. On the way to film that day, I kept thinking, "Is there something fun that would suit well with Sungchan-ssi?" Then suddenly I thought, "What if Sungchan-ssi comes out of my bag? How cute would that be?" So this is kind of funny. I asked the manager on the way if we could stop by somewhere like Daiso to buy some paper that could be used as a black background and we hurriedly stopped by. But there wasn't any. They only had small ones, so we were like, "Ah, then this won't work… should we just go?" and headed off. When we got there, we went to a certain floor at SM, and it turned out that floor was empty that day. So we asked if we could take a look around the place, and while looking, there was a black curtain there. So the manager said, "I think it'll work if we take this down." So we took it down and asked, "Sungchan-ssi, could you try going in here for a moment?" But he was so kind, Sungchan-ssi. Even though I was the one asking for a favor, right there on the spot he immediately said, "Ah, of course!" so I was really thankful. Sungchan-ssi said it was his first time trying a challenge like this, and he was very shy. I'm really, truly grateful. Thank you. RIIZE fans liked it so much. I saw comments saying they'd come to give greetings every holiday. It was so cute. Ah, really… it was so cute. I like that kind of (playful, over-the-top fan comments) anyway. The lyricist for Talk Saxy, Lee Hejoo-nim also mentioned #SUNGCHAN's parts in a past interview. Q. How did you want the RIIZE members to sing this song? 👩 As mentioned before, they were a rookie team. But in the demo version, the song had a stronger sexy vibe, just like the title suggests. We wanted to keep some of that feeling while making it fresher, with a sense of youthfulness that was still there. For certain parts that we especially wanted them to pay attention to, there were lines like "C note c note 낮은 목소리로." Those were parts that required a kind of acting in the delivery, so we wanted them to pay particular attention to things like that, and.. 👱🏻♀️ Sungchan did a great job 👩 He did a great job. Another example would be the line, "이 감정을 Post that, 맘을 숨겨두는 짓은 못해" ("Post that feeling, I can't hide my heart"). In that part, "Post that" and "못해 (mothae)" were written to rhyme exactly with each other, so it was a section where the impact would really come through if the accent was placed correctly.
