The Iranian Revolution was a truly Popular revolution, triggered in response to a western imposed oppressive and morally bankrupt monarchy. The Iranian people had elected a beloved leader and western powers overthrew him and installed the shah. But the Iranian people spoke, and chose a truly just, powerful, and effective leader, who immediately purged the country of corruption and western imperialism. Iranians chose this, they fought for this and won't let it go. America's plan will fail. It's already failed.
