DCP Lamba is absolutely well within his rights to control the unruly crowd, and he used the bare minimum of force. Hats off to Delhi police that despite hundreds of their foot soldiers getting injured, they responded with only calculated force; else things could have been much worse.

The ITBP achieved what the army could not. Well done, ITBP. The Cockroach Janta Party is not the real threat; this is. The mistreatment of patriots exposes the true danger. Ladies and gentlemen, as I have stated before, the legislative, executive, judiciary, and press have become entirely corrupt. Their power is their right. An ITBP jawan’s mother had her hand amputated in a private nursing home due to medical negligence. The police and the CMO, who are on the payrolls of such nursing homes, did nothing. The jawans and officers went to seek justice for their comrade. I am immensely proud of them. I have served alongside the ITBP and can attest they are equal to the army in training, discipline, dedication, and resilience in the harshest environments. I hope the army also stands with their officers and jawans in similar way.And civil administration learn a lesson—please do not provoke the voiceless.

She is Deepika Kakkad and runs a Youtube channel with 40 lakh subscribers and very decent viewership. She uses the name Deepika for her channel, but after marriage, she converted and has a new Islamic name, which she does not disclose. All her videos are Islamic in nature, and she avoids her Hindu past to the extent that she subtly hints at her past pain and her current liberation. Essentially, she promotes conversion and its benefits. This is where the Abrahamic religions have an edge over Sanatan Dharma. We have been failing and will continue to fail if drastic measures are not taken. Either she claims she has not converted or does not use her Hindu name. It's a big fraud.

Life in India is cheap. The tragic incident at Bargi Dam has once again revealed the widespread indifference to safety and security at such sites. Whether it's paragliding or boat riding, the pattern remains the same. I have visited the Bargi backwaters, where boats are modified to carry more passengers, often operated by untrained crews—making disaster only a moment away. Physics always bears the brunt. The waves at the dam are short and resemble multiple speed breakers in succession. Yet, this is India—nothing will change. No accountability will be enforced. As BJP politicians smugly declare that resignation don't happen in the party because it is a party with a difference. Despite all this I see armymen chipping in to help in the hours of grief of devastated families.

History has a way of repeating itself. Back in 2011, the UPA government displayed a burden of arrogance that many found difficult to tolerate. During Anna Hazare's fast against the government, Minister Manish Tiwari called him corrupt, only to regret his words within a day and eat humble pie. Yesterday, a similar spectacle unfolded during a press conference on ethanol, where the plight of the common middle class—struggling under the weight of supporting 80 crore hungry people—was made fun of its concerns on ethanol blending adulteration as rumors, all cloaked in the guise of patriotism and concern for farmers. This ethanol controversy reminds us of a troubling past—how corrupt petrol pump operators once mixed subsidized kerosene with fuel. Now, the scene has shifted to the government itself. While private individuals were once held accountable, the government seems immune, as if protected behind a wall that prevents justice. My humble suggestion to Modiji is this: let’s set aside personal ego and truly listen to those on the ground—they are your supporters, after all. It’s crucial to avoid the mistakes made by the UPA era and the arrogance that accompanied it. Today, honestly, no one fully understands what is being used in our cars—whether it’s E20, 30, 40, or 50. This confusion has led to public indifference, creating a disturbing sense that those in power are not be accountable. A mature democracy depends on transparency and genuine concern for its people. Let us strive for a government that listens, understands, and empathizes with its citizens’ struggles.

The IAS, IPS, IFS, JUDGES — everyone is quiet. Unfortunately, the retired faujis don't understand that there are reasons why the government has taken this step, and it needs to be welcomed. Armed forces officers have their institutes,clubs, but yes, they are not just for elites. A general will have to share a seat with a short-service captain. My humble request to the officers who are members of the club: not to bring the name of the armed forces into it. It's your personal battle; please fight it yourself.

China has not engaged in war for ages and is not currently fighting any internal insurgencies. Yet, they hold deep respect for their soldiers. Why? Because they understand that avoiding war requires a strong, motivated army. A powerful military serves as the ultimate deterrent to enemies. This is precisely why China’s economy is growing so rapidly that it could overtake the US in the near future. What about India? We have Agnivir, a contractual soldier with no future prospects; no NFU for army officers, despite all civilian officers having it—yet beaurocrates they can't even organize exams without leaking question papers. The BJP IT cell and media anchors aligned to it fiercely defend their stance, calling out anyone who raises these issues. But that doesn't mean the Congress is any better; they might be worse. Let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, with this attitude, no government will be able to make India a developed country by 2047. And there are those who, themselves are corrupt or dishonest, start talking about canteen facilities. It’s time for real change.

It appeared as though the British had rendered a great favor to India by ruling it for 200 years. No indication suggested that India’s ruler, Nehru, was ever mistreated or imprisoned. It was a meeting between a former slave now in power and his former master. In my view, the narrative of India’s so-called independence warrants a thorough reassessment.

Brigadier Surender Singh made some explosive revelations in his recent interview: 1. The intrusion in Kargil occurred in 1998, not in 1999, a fact that was concealed from the government by General Malik. 2. If the government had been aware of the intrusion, Prime Minister Vajpayee would not have taken the bus journey to Lahore in 1999. 3. Timely action could have potentially saved many of the 527 young lives lost during the conflict. 4. The Kargil intrusion was a personal blow to Mr. Vajpayee and remains a lifelong regret for him that he went to Lahore. 5. I firmly believe that the true strength of our armed forces lies not in the institutions they represent, which are backed by the government, but in the unwavering support of the common people. The villagers of the army jawan who was brutally assaulted at the toll plaza took a stand and taught the toll employees responsible for the attack a powerful lesson.
