Finally our last ever inpatient has left City Hospital to be cared for at the Midland Met - a poignant moment as Pankaj Kumar is also an A&E doctor at our Trust. Leaving to a round of applause, his transfer brings the building’s use as a hospital for 130 years to an end.

The Urgent Treatment Centre at Sandwell Hospital is open from 7am until 1am. Patients with non-life-threatening conditions should use the UTC - book an app via NHS 111. Please note - the A&E at Sandwell Hospital is now closed. Use the A&E at Midland Met for emergency care.
