During the filming of ‘Cover Story’, Thaw’s wife Sheila Hancock was awarded an OBE. When Thaw returned to set the day after accompanying his wife to Buckingham Palace, the crew gave him a very special greeting; a red carpet and a clapperboard marked ‘HRH’… #TheSweeney #Trivia

Saddened to hear of the death of the wonderful Lee Montague, who passed away on the 30th March. Lee starred in both The Sweeney’s pilot episode ‘Regan’ and the series three episode ‘Selected Target’; one of the highest viewed episodes of the entire series. RIP Lee 🌹 #TheSweeney
