Hey everyone, check out my conversation with my friend Rick Rubin on his podcast Tetragrammaton: We covered a lot of different topics - from my upbringing in Hollywood as a child of two Armenian immigrant artists that escaped Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, to my formative years as a songwriter/composer who dreamt of someday “making it” in band, to the formation and evolution of System Of A Down, and my approach in general to composing and writing songs like Chop Suey! and many others. Hope you enjoy!!!!! ⁃ Daron Malakian
