This is the craziest thing I ever did. I implemented a fully new instance type in roblox with a C++ hook and have that instance control a custom modified roblox shader pack. Anyone ever wanted a SSREffect instance? Well now you can have it (with mods..) #Roblox #RobloxDev

I have been given the Rockport map to test it out, performance however isn't great (not the maps fault, rather my code) and the cars are a bit buggy here, but I drove around a bit :D The camera kept hitting some invisible stuff unfortunately so it might jitter quite a bit here.

More progress on the cops, their netcode and collisions have been reworked and several bugs related to them have been fixed, its still not perfect though. Network usage currently is through the roof and many cars can absolutely overwhelm the server, but optimization is coming.

A better video of me driving around in rockport, now the collisions are better because of the dumper properly dumping the collision data and barriers! (Destructible objects are a bit weird still, and the giant floating buildings are normal, they are from a unfinished system)
