Glad to see Team Safaid Sagar finally brought some visual clarity to one of the most repeated Indian narratives of 2019, the “two parachutes” theory. CGI reconstruction shows that a MiG-21 ejection consists of two visible parachutes, the white parachute associated with the ejection seat and the orange parachute carrying the pilot. From a distance, distinguishing a seat from a pilot is not possible especially for a civilan. So, two parachutes do not automatically mean two pilots, if the plane shot down was a MiG-21 There, gentlemen. The famous “two parachute” theory, visually explained and put to rest.
