It was such an honor to be able to act in the most brilliant period of women and to live in it. I have so much respect and gratitude for all teachers who have passed through the dark and bright times that our drama could not fully capture, and are still continuing their legacy in that place. I feel ashamed that I am so lacking in receiving such a big award, but If I were to interpret it in a good way, I tried not to compromise, just like the teachings of our Ra Miran sunbaenim about the role of Director Kang Sobok in Jeongnyeon. It wasn't the absolute right answer, but I think that was my romanticism at the time. I think of my shortcomings as romanticism is probably because I want to do better next time. I will strive to become an actor who can move forward without feeling ashamed and using my desire to do well as a driving force. Actor Koo Kyohwan share behind scenes story for casting Kim Taeri and Son Sukku for 22nd Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival’s trailer. "I told the festival body I could really do a great job, so I persuaded them by bring in top stars. I’m the one who brought them in. As a casting director, as a director. I just call them. 'Kim Taeri, what are you up to?' 'Son Sukku, what are you up to?'
