For the first time in 67 years, the Cardinals have finished with losing records in back-to-back full-length seasons. What positives can be taken from this season? Chaim Bloom isn’t satisfied after another season without the playoffs. “We want it badly. Every day, we’re trying to progress urgently toward that. We need to make sure we get there honestly. If you get there in a way that isn’t sustainable, then you fall right back where you came from, and that’s not what anybody wants.” KMOV | MatrixMidwest | #stlcards

"We are from St. Louis, we did go to Mizzou, and we did have success. St. Louis athletes need to see that happen." Now both in the NFL, Brady Cook (Brady Cook) and Cody Schrader (Cody Schrader) hosted their "Legacy Camp" at Chaminade today in St. Louis. Cook told me it was weird watching the Tigers from afar last season, but he's back to being a fan. Mizzou Football | KMOV | MatrixMidwest

“Easily the most hyped I’ve ever been for a day game — probably any game — in my life.” After today's series win over the Royals, #STLCards manager Oli Marmol invited the creators of the “tarps off” crew into the clubhouse to celebrate with the team. Why let this trend stop with TARPS OFF AT BUSCH? Oli made it clear he wants this to become a thing. MatrixMidwest | KMOV

“There’s literally nowhere I can go that my dad wasn’t there before me. He was my best friend.” Hard to believe Joe Buck (Joe Buck) had never thrown out a first pitch — until today. The St. Louis Cardinals honored Hall of Fame broadcasters Joe and Jack Buck, with Joe taking the mound to throw out his first ceremonial first pitch. A special moment celebrating a legendary father-son duo. #stlcards | KMOV

St. Louis means everything to me. It’s the city that shaped me, and now I get to share its stories. To be recognized as the first woman named Missouri Sportscaster of the Year by my peers at National Sports Media Association is the honor of a lifetime. It’s something I never could have imagined while walking the halls of Clayton High School. Getting to cover the hometown teams and people who inspired me growing up has been a privilege. Thank you to KMOV for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to do what I love. And thank you to the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, X - St Louis CITY SC, St. Louis Battlehawks, Saint Louis Men's Basketball, Mizzou Football, and everyone who welcomed me in and trusted me with their stories. I’m incredibly grateful.

Now, the recent Hockey Hall of Fame inductee is taking on an expanded role with the St. Louis Blues as advisor to the president of hockey operations. Tkachuk previously served as the team's director of recruitment since 2019 after working as an amateur scout from 2014-18. #stlblues | KMOV | MatrixMidwest
