அறிஞர் அண்ணா நம் மாநிலத்திற்குத் தமிழ்நாடு என்று பெயர் சூட்டி ஆற்றிய வரலாற்றுச் சிறப்பு மிக்க 20 நிமிட உரை. அவருக்கே உரிய நையாண்டி, மதிநுட்பத்தோடு பேசுகிறார். கூட்டத்தினர் சிரிப்பும் கரவொலியும் நம்மையே அந்தக் காலக்கட்டத்திற்கு அழைத்துச் செல்கிறது. இந்த உரையை ஆற்றச்சென்றால் உயிருக்கே ஆபத்து என்று மருத்துவர்கள் எச்சரித்தும், "இதற்குக் கூட என் குரலும் உடலும் பயன்படாவிட்டால் நான் உயிர் வாழ்ந்து என்ன பயன்?" என்று துணிந்து ஆற்றிய உரை. இந்தப் பேச்சில் தான் "நாங்கள் செய்தவற்றை நீக்க நினைத்தாலே ஒரு அச்சம் வரும். அது வரை அண்ணாதுரை தாள் ஆள்கிறான் என்று பொருள் என வரும்" என்னும் முழக்கம் வருகிறது. கேட்டுப் பாருங்கள். தயவு செய்து அவருடைய உண்மையான குரலைப் பரப்புங்கள். சுடு சோம்பேறி முட்டாள்கள் போல் மிமிக்ரி குரல்களைப் பரப்பாதீர்கள். ஒரு முறை இந்த உரையைக் கேட்டால் வாழ்நாளுக்கும் நீங்களும் அண்ணாவின் தம்பியாக மாறுவீர்கள். ஒரு நாடே எப்படி அவர் பின்னே சென்றது என்பதைப் புரிந்து கொள்வீர்கள்.

"Just to be clear, speaking against Modi is not anti-national. Neither is being against the BJP, nor being against the RSS, nor speaking against the government. None of these are anti-national; this is our right. Do you know what is actually anti-national? Going and shaking hands with the Taliban. What else is anti-national? Having an illiterate Chief Minister for our nation's capital. And people like Sonam Wangchuk, comedians, being in jail, while those who are throwing shoes at the Chief Justice of India are openly roaming outside and saying that 'God did this' and we are just silently watching all this. That is anti-national. Watching our country divide into Hindu and Muslim based on caste and still remaining silent, that is anti-national. All media being sycophantic, and all of Bollywood dancing to 'Modi Hai Toh Mumkin Hai' type songs, that is anti-national. Erasing pages of history from our schools' and children's curriculum, that is anti-national. Seeing the country burning and dividing, and still remaining silent. In fact, clapping at the country's collapse, that is anti-national."
