During the election, I had made a promise to a differently-abled young sister from Rainawari that after taking the oath as MLA, I would gift her a remote-controlled electric wheelchair. Along with hundreds of workers and MLAs, Jenab Omar Abdullah Sahab offered Fatiha at the Mazar of our veteran leader and longest-serving General Secretary, Adv. Sheikh Nazir Ahmed, on his 10th death anniversary. Grateful to Block Zadibal for decorating all the chowks in the Zadibal constituency and the areas around Malik Sahab Astan with JKNC flags on the occasion. Mehbooba Mufti is lying. It’s shocking that someone who has served as CM would stoop this low. Dr. Farooq Abdullah never mentioned “Kashmiris” or “locals”. At a time when we’re trying to protect Kashmiri students, traders, and families across India, it’s shameful to misrepresent his words and endanger them further. Mehbooba should apologise and delete that tweet unless she can prove he said what she claims. This is not politics, it’s recklessness.

I’m on the ground, doing my best to address people’s grievances. It will take some time, but I’ll try to cover as many areas as possible. Since I’m traveling on foot, progress may be slow. Currently, I’m in Rainawari and heading towards Dal, then Zadibal, Makhdoom Sahib, Koker Bagh, Soura, and Dargah. In the meantime, if there’s any specific area that needs immediate attention, please let me know, and I’ll raise it with the administration. I understand the challenges that need urgent solutions. While we enjoy the snow—which we should—let’s exercise patience as we work together to resolve these issues.
