The Chief Minister of J&K meets the Union Home Minister to discuss critical issues concerning Jammu & Kashmir, restoration of Statehood, Business Rules, Reservation, the appointment of the Advocate General, and other important governance matters. Meanwhile, the not-so-responsible Leader of Opposition from the BJP claims he met the Home Minister merely to “suggest that there is no unrest among NC MLAs.” Chalo, if what my friend Sunil Sharma , the LoP, is claiming is true, then let the Ministry of Home Affairs officially state so. Otherwise, he is not just misleading the public he is simply peddling a blatant lie and stands exposed. Simple.

I accompanied Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on a visit to various areas of Zadibal constituency to review the arrangements for Muharram. We visited Astan Mir Shams-ud-Din Iraqi, Zadibal; Imam Bara Zadibal; Gulshan Bagh Imam Bara; Soura Chowk; Bagwanpora Imam Bara; and Nawab Bagh Imambara. At Imam Bara Hassanabad, we were joined by Hon’ble MLA Salman Sagar During the visit, the arrangements were reviewed in detail, and the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister issued directions to ensure that all necessary facilities and arrangements are put in place well in time. All senior officers of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.

I’m on the ground, doing my best to address people’s grievances. It will take some time, but I’ll try to cover as many areas as possible. Since I’m traveling on foot, progress may be slow. Currently, I’m in Rainawari and heading towards Dal, then Zadibal, Makhdoom Sahib, Koker Bagh, Soura, and Dargah. In the meantime, if there’s any specific area that needs immediate attention, please let me know, and I’ll raise it with the administration. I understand the challenges that need urgent solutions. While we enjoy the snow—which we should—let’s exercise patience as we work together to resolve these issues.
