A small sneak peek of something we’ve been working on for the past 12 months. Together with Qualcomm, we’ve been designing the next generation of the HUMAIN AI PC - bringing CPU, GPU and NPU together to run AI models locally, on the device. I’m excited about the hardware. But the hardware isn’t the part I’m most excited about. The real question is: what operating system is running on it? There is something special about sports. They bring people together, spark conversations, and create moments that millions experience at the same time. But for me, this launch represents something much bigger. In a part of the world where many still assume breakthrough AI products can only come from elsewhere, our ambition has never been to simply replicate what already exists. From day one, our objective was not to win benchmark competitions. Our objective was to build the foundations of AI research, develop world-class engineering capability, and learn what it truly takes to create models from the ground up. When we built ALLAM, we trained a model from scratch. The lessons we learned throughout that journey are invaluable. Building that capability, understanding every stage of the process, and creating our own research foundation is what will ultimately matter over the long term. In a couple of months at #LEAP, we’ll introduce our next-generation model. And in just a few weeks, we’ll be opening HUMAIN Chat to users around the world. To be clear, I’m not chasing benchmark rankings. We have a very different objective. Everything we’re building is part of a much bigger vision. Today, I had the privilege of speaking to the HUMAIN team at our CEO Townhall. I often say this, and I mean it deeply: I am living my dream... working in a country where energy goes beyond oil. It’s in the people, the ambition, and the belief in building a better future. Saudi Arabia is unlike anywhere else. The hospitality is second to none. The vision is bold. And the commitment to shaping the future is real. What we are building at HUMAIN is foundational. We are not only participating in the AI era, but redefining it. Shifting the narrative from experimentation to real value creation. But more importantly, we are not afraid to challenge what an organization should look like in an AI-native world. In fact, we are pioneering it. We are actively reshaping how we work: - Moving toward a future where AI agents do the work - Empowering our people to focus on high-value thinking, creativity, and decision-making - Building strong foundations in security, governance, and guardrails - Continuously enhancing our models, systems, and operating frameworks This is not theory. At the #PIF_PrivateSectorForum, I unveiled the first public preview of HUMAIN OS, our agentic AI operating system designed to redefine how humans interact with machines. For decades, operating systems were built on legacy architectures and icon-driven interfaces. As a major innovation coming out of Saudi Arabia, #HUMAINOS changes that. On May 12, 2025, HUMAIN was launched. One year later, I reflect with immense pride on what this team has accomplished in such a short period of time. What many people may not realize is that HUMAIN was never designed to be a single company. From day one, the vision was much bigger. In parallel, we have been establishing five companies simultaneously: • HUMAIN Core • HUMAIN Compute • HUMAIN Intelligence • HUMAIN Shift • HUMAIN Ventures Each with a distinct mandate, but all working together toward one mission: building a national AI champion designed for the age of intelligence. Our foundational year was not defined only by ambition, but by execution across multiple fronts at once. First, Foundation. We built HUMAIN from the ground up, establishing the operational backbone of the company while integrating strategic assets, talent, and investments from both government and private sectors. This created the foundation for a unified AI ecosystem under one organization. Second, Culture & Alignment. We made a deliberate decision to build differently: flat, agile, and execution-driven. We shifted from role-based work to outcome-based ownership. Titles mattered less than builders. Mission mattered more than hierarchy. Third, Product Creation. We made a bold choice early on: we would not buy software, we would build it ourselves. This led to the creation of our AI-native stack, including HUMAIN ONE, HUMAIN Fabric, HUMAIN Chat, HUMAIN Create, HUMAIN Brain, and HUMAIN Horizon Pro. Today, HUMAIN operates increasingly on its own technology stack, transforming from a consumer of technology into a creator and exporter of it. Fourth, Infrastructure Build. AI leadership requires infrastructure at scale. Over the past year, HUMAIN moved aggressively across data centers, compute, and strategic global partnerships to position Saudi Arabia as a global AI infrastructure and inference hub. We are targeting 250 MW of deployed capacity by the end of 2026 and scaling toward multi-gigawatt infrastructure in the years ahead. Fifth, Global Positioning & Capital Strategy. Through strategic partnerships, ecosystem development, and diversified funding approaches, HUMAIN strengthened its position as a company focused on long-term AI leadership, innovation, and intellectual property creation. But beyond all of this, the most important achievement was the people. To every HUMAIN builder who worked day and night to help stand this company on its feet: thank you. Startups are never easy. Building five companies simultaneously is even harder. What this team accomplished in one year would normally take many organizations several years to achieve. I am incredibly proud of what HUMAIN stands for, what we are building, and the mission we are on together. The era of consuming technology is behind us. In my CNBC interview, Jon Fortt asked what happens to SaaS in an AI-agent world. I’ll be bold: the way we work and interact with compute is about to change. We’re moving from apps to agents. From dashboards to prompts. From human workflows to autonomous orchestration. At HUMAIN , we’re building this now. HUMAIN OS (to be revealed at LEAP) and HUMAIN ONE reimagine the enterprise when AI agents become the primary interface. You can’t deploy agents and keep legacy processes. SaaS won’t disappear overnight, but many will become obsolete interfaces.
