This scene feels even more tragic now going into a far darker and bloodier season. This was Viserys' final desperate attempt to reunite his family and preserve peace, and in that moment, he genuinely believed he had succeeded. Yes, he shares part of the blame for the Dance… but what makes this heartbreaking is how he is completely convinced that everything is finally held together, right before it all inevitably falls apart. Paddy Considine sold this scene perfectly, and it's IMO one of the most beautiful and wholesome moments in the entire GOT universe.

The #HOTD Season 2 Weeks Ahead trailer had no business going this hard. 🔥 I love these Weeks Ahead previews so much. They always generate a ton of discussion and speculation about the season as a whole by giving us a glimpse of what's coming in the next few episodes. Can't wait to see what the Season 3 one is gonna look like after the premiere episode.

Man, it must feel so damn good to watch the trailer for your favorite show with a live crowd. Daemon and Rhaenyra are clearly the backbone of this show based on those reactions. It'll be interesting to see how they wrap up HOTD, all things considered.
