My heart is shattered today. Losing my friend, Inspector Shah Asrar, in the tragic Nowgam Police Station blast feels impossible to comprehend. He was a man of immense integrity, humility, and courage — someone whose presence brought calm and whose character inspired everyone around him. It is heartbreaking to accept that he is no longer with us. May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannah and give strength to his family in this unbearable moment. His friendship, courage, and gentle nature will remain with me forever.

The Assembly did not make you a king it made you the Deputy Chief Minister. So answer plainly: who represents Handwara in the Assembly—the MP or the elected MLA? Is this cheap belittling of an MLA only because he sits in the opposition? Yesterday, in brutal snowfall, the only man on the ground was the Handwara MLA. Instead of acknowledging duty and courage, you chose arrogance and contempt. While you cry hoarse about Delhi disrespecting the mandate of Jammu & Kashmir, you are doing exactly the same thing trampling the people’s verdict. Never forget: you are MLAs first, ministers later. Shame on the NC government.
