A Tesla on Full Self-Driving blows through a stop sign at 35mph and nearly collides with two cars. The kicker is that this was during a livestream debate-demo-drive between FSD fan Ross Gerber and FSD skeptic Dan O'Dowd. This should go without saying, but for an automated system to be at the safety level of a human, this cannot happen. The fact that this occurred yesterday during THIS drive (along with other safety-critical disengagements) should serve as statistical evidence of how frequent this is occurring. IMO, this is the biggest nail in the Tesla FSD coffin.

It has complete control over the phone. It can see the UI, choose/download apps, tap/type, call, and run multi-step task chains. Here I just say (in English) “find someone to wait in line for me” (something you can do in China), and it picks which app to open, configures the job, and hands me one confirm screen. I wouldn’t otherwise know how to do this, and here the phone just did it in a matter of seconds.

I can't believe people still talk about Tesla when this exists. Here's Huawei's ADS 2.0 in Shenzhen, filmed by me. Luxeed S7 has LiDAR, no HD maps, 11 HD cameras, 3 mmWave radars, 12 USS, significant onboard compute... Driver didn't touch controls once (except to reroute).

US politicians haven’t even considered highly automated factories as a reason Chinese EVs are so much better and cheaper than what is available in the US, because they are so blindly anti-China and so obsessed with creating/protecting jobs. These Chinese EVs aren’t a result of subsidies, but rather a product of years of innovation and intense competition in China. US politicians are trying to stymie innovation and competition.
