So Japanese YouTuber who goes by Sora the Troll has made a video where he is pretty directly talking about my commentary against Chris Broad and Trash Taste because I was the first person to expose them for not actually being able to speak Japanese. Let me be clear, my main commentary was not about them failing to have perfect Japanese after 7 to 14 years. No foreigner is going to have perfect Japanese. My biggest issue was them VASTLY misrepresenting their skill level at Japanese through things like lies by omission to be seen as a position of authority on Japan which grants them an unearned reputation that results in higher view counts and more social connections. I pointed this out because it is actually a huge problem in the language community where it seems like… MOST content creators who claim to have proficiency in a language are vastly overstating it and because their viewers can't tell, they often claim to be fluent despite being very low level. By the way, content creators who pretend to know languages often make SHITLOADS of money from people who think they are fluent. It’s super obvious that Chris and Connor do not speak Japanese anywhere near fluency because they always look super uncomfortable when speaking, they take lots of pauses, and they frequently try to switch to English. These things are incredibly obvious to people who speak the language but are not apparent at all to 99.9% of their fans who all told me that they were fluent or experts at the language until I brought the receipts to show that they weren’t. In the case of this friend group though, this is further amplified by their ass kissing friends like Dogen who pretend that Chris’s Japanese is near the level of a native and that Joey is some sort of God of Japanese because he passed the JLPT N1 test. Calm down. JLPT N1 is like high school level proficiency. Not to say that Joey hasn’t put a lot of work in but passing JLPT N1 does not necessarily mean he is better at Japanese than Japanese people. My second big issue has less to do with Japan (because these people do not speak Japanese) and more to do with the west because by their actions they are promoting the idea that it is OK to go to someone else’s country and not assimilate. While at the same time, they promote Marxism and multiculturalist ideas to westerners. I made those videos because them doing this absolutely affects my country and my culture despite them living somewhere else. That is why my video on Trash Taste contained a roughly 20 minute preface that was about America and then had references about America throughout the trash taste section. Also, Idk why you made a video defending Connor. Connor literally supports a terrorist named Hasan Piker who scammed the US system to get citizenship here. Understand that I hate Connor and I started the whole campaign against trash taste because he has, multiple times, covered up for a terrorist who wants to destroy my country and turn it into a Marxist hell hole. Connor is not a good person. He is literally the poster child for creators saying “But I donate to charity” to make up for the fucked up things they do. There is a reason I don’t like Trash Taste. They literally brought Mao on to their podcast… twice and were like “Actually Mao wasn’t that bad of a guy.” Yes, they do their podcast in Japan but their target is Westerners. Therefore my culture is the one that they are actually affecting. Sora if you are reading my tweets that reference scenes from Inglorious Basterds then I am sure you watched my first video on Chris where I also exposed how completely not transparent he is about most of his videos being a commercial and how many of them are actual violations of American and European trade laws. These are the issues I actually care about. Him doing these things from Japan was just a coincidence so if Japanese people are impressed by him saying 「これはペンです」then that’s kind of beside the point because my videos were about America and foreigners here refusing to assimilate. Japan was just the example I used because I have studied Japanese which is how I know how ridiculous it is for Mexicans to come to America and speak zero English after 20 years. It only takes 1 hour a day of practice for a Spanish speaker to become fluent in English after 2 years. As for the Japanese perspective, let me just say that Japan is very new to foreign immigration/tourism and I have heard that the ones who can speak English tend to be quite liberal and probably do not face the struggle of having to speak to lots of new people in a language they don’t know. Because they can just speak English to the English speakers. So they may not fully understand what the average Japanese people are experiencing in areas that now have high amounts of foreigners. But what I can say is that I have gotten numerous sighs of relief when I have spoken to Japanese people in their language particularly after people saying 「日本語が大丈夫ですか？」I had a girl say that to ask me if I wanted to check my bag at the airport and I literally watched years of pain and suffering get wiped away from her face when I said 「大丈夫」。Not to claim I have elite level Japanese like Chris would. In fact I think my Japanese is still quite basic compared to where I would like to be. However I think, based on my experience, that Sora, as an English speaker, is not seeing how often the shape of Japanese people’s faces change when I say a complete sentence in their language. I think people’s skill level does matter them. They just haven’t interacted with foreigners enough to be frustrated at how few of them even just put a couple hours a week of practice so they can actually communicate. Connor said he was only putting in like 1 hour a week and you can tell. If he put in 1 hour a day which should be easy because he doesn’t have kids and is self employed and he’s rich, then he wouldn’t be perfect but he would be well into fluency by now after 7 years. Last, I will say also it’s funny that Sora essentially is agreeing that their Japanese is ass. Thanks Sora. W on my part. Fuck Trash Taste.

People who are super into anime will constantly say, "THIS IS JAPANESE CULTURE! STOP TRYING TO CENSOR JAPANESE CULUTRE!" You can tell that none of those people speak Japanese because they are unaware of how much regular Japanese people say they are disgusted with certain parts of anime or certain cultural norms.

I like how almost none of the footage from the original American DBZ intro was from the actual show. This used to confuse the hell out of as a kid as I spent what felt like years waiting to get to the episode with the double kamehameha from the intro.

This is what I mean when I say Abroad in Japan and the Trash Taste flunkies (except Joey) don't speak Japanese. If I were Garnt, I would be embarrassed if I had been living in Japan for nearly 5 years and I got schooled by A2 level Japanese from guy a who doesn't live there.

It's over. In this video, Abroad in Japan flat out admits that he had been living in Japan for 10 years and does not speak Japanese. So after defaming a friend of mine (Oriental Pearl) and talking about how he is so in tune with the Japanese because he is a local, the whole time, his Japanese was so bad that he could not even understand the local news. This smug asshat had the audacity to call Oriental Pearl a lying grifter who is misrepresenting Japan when he doesn't even know enough Japanese to fact check her. Oh and then he cut the audio out of a moment where she was laughing uncomfortably because she was being sexually harassed and then pasted it with different footage to make it look like she was laughing at the homeless. By the way, this moment where he admits his Japanese is beginner level is at the end of the video where less than half the viewers will see it. You know, so that way he can go around masquerading as someone who can handle complex conversations with Ken Watanabe or Hyde followed by not showing the parts where he is having someone translate for him because he can't understand what they are saying. This guy is a massive fraud and I know he is intentionally hiding it because everyone and their grandmother thought he was fluent until I said something on my YouTube channel. Now he will use this term "conversationally fluent" which I think a lot of people believe means he can handle basically any conversation that you would see in your normal life. I think he purposefully says that to misrepresent his actual skill level to people who don't know anything about language learning. He even openly admitted in this video that he regularly misrepresents how long he has been in Japan so that people won't judge him negatively for not learning their language. S when Chris says "conversationally fluent" what he actually means is he has the language ability of a 7 year. Sure he'll understand you when you talk but if you say ANYTHING complex, he can't understand you. Also when he says, "I'm conversationally fluent" he is saying that he is illiterate. You know all of those videos of Kai Cenat humbling himself to become a better reader? That level of reading is vastly better than Chris's reading level in Japanese. I mean this absolute liar while go out there and pretend he is prepping for the JLPT N1 like he is a master of Japanese yet 2 years after that video comes out, here he is saying his Japanese is ass and he's basically a beginner and hasn't studied in 8 years. Then this year he says, "Actually I completely failed the JLPT N2 when I tried to take it 11 years ago but it was because someone's cellphone went off in the middle of the test. That magically made me forget all of my Japanese." Well, it's not like he's the only one in that friend group who can't speak Japanese. His terrorist supporting friend Connor can't speak Japanese either. Neither can Garnt. After 6 years. None of these people in this group outside of Joey, who grew up speaking the language, actually respects Japan enough to do the most basic thing which is learn the language. Yet they'll be like, "Yeah, I wouldn't go back to England. That place sucks."
