I agree with you CS KIPCHUMBA MURKOMEN, E.G.H. In those days they said; “Moi MUST GO!”, “Kibaki TOSHA”, “Uhuru JAMBA ya RURIRI”, and now “Ruto MUST GO.” During Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta eras, even when fuel prices went up, you would think Kenya had discovered a different version of peace, no demonstrations, no burning of property, just calm acceptance and a collective “life must go on.” It is almost fascinating how today, the same political environment suddenly finds urgency, matches, and tyres whenever prices shift, as if public reaction has become seasonal depending on who is in power.

Wambui: "I'm a proud Kikuyu, but your Mlima narrative is tribal, toxic, and outdated. This isn’t 1992. Lead 50M Kenyans, not just your tribe." Another diaspora Kenyan recalls Gachagua telling him, “You don’t have shares”—after being dropped from a PS shortlist. Kenya is not a private company.

If you believed about today’s demonstrations, you are mistaken, it’s all about #MlimaIncitement, paying people so that they can light up tyres and touch cars is very irresponsible. Hiking of fuel is just the biggest misinformation, as Kenya is doing okay compared to Uganda and Tanzania, which are in February in terms of stocks, while Kenya is in April, soon they will be diving into crisis. Rwanda just got to March and they have increased prices twice in one month. This kind of narrative being pushed by the tribal bigots is misleading and clearly driven by tribal incitement rather than facts.

President Ruto: We must say it as it is. There will be no slave owners in Kenya, there will be nobody who will reverse the independence we have as a nation, there will be nobody who will replace the sovereignty of the people of Kenya. I want to promise you they will not succeed in slave ownership, they will not succeed on dictatorship they want to install in Kenya, they will decide nothing, they will lead nobody, they will lead nowhere and they will lead nothing. I’m not a prophet but that’s what I believe in.

President William Samoei Ruto, PhD : I know there are so many people asking questions: why their maid will now stay on the 11th floor in a house that eventually belongs to them. They find it difficult to configure why their watchman, all of a sudden, will be discussing mortgage just like them.
