A historic agreement between Mahindra & Mahindra and the Maharashtra State Government for EV manufacturing. The agreement was signed at the Advantage Vidarbha event in Nagpur, in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Mahindra & Mahindra will invest ₹15,000 crore across three cities Nagpur, Igatpuri, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The company will manufacture advanced electric vehicles, including: Passenger EVs Light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles; Electric tractors; Agricultural machinery. This investment is expected to generate around 15,000 jobs.
