We were told last night that this cat was found by the side of the road and he appeared to have suffered a severe blow and a wound to the muscles. We cleaned the wound, stitched it and gave him anti-inflammatories, nerve tonic, and antibiotics. Please send him good thoughts and wishes.

This video is from the border area between Turkey and Syria. People are trying to cross the border from Turkey to Syria, or vice versa, and they have tried to take their cats with them. Unfortunately they have not got the required documents for their animals to cross the border. The border officials could not let them pass. The cats could not enter, so they have been abandoned. People contacted us for help. Some of these cats have been there for a few weeks. We will go and save who we can and bring them back to Ernestos where they will be health checked, treated and neutered and spayed. Please, we need to ask you for a little help. Could you help us to close this fundraiser by the end of the month so we can feed, medicate and shelter them? You can also donate on these links. Thank you.

In these recent days we have been wondering about our future, we made some appeal for help with no responso, so we feel that people have lost interest in our mission , and unfortunately with our reserves we are preparing to close everything in January more or less , and for two days we have been evaluating the idea of saying that this mission no longer makes sense to exist because we don't feel supported, as if the war ended has given us life resources, but it is not like that, we have only stopped dying from bombs, but the hundreds of mouths are still here asking for care, food, vaccines, etc. but today this Syrian / Spanish boy called us asking for help for a dog... and by helping him and the dog we realized how important our presence in Syria is, that this mission cannot stop now, we hope that in many of you this mission has this effect of wanting to go forward and believe in it as it did in us. We need to reach our goal for November if you can help us 🙏

Attention hard images 🔞 We weren’t sure about posting because the images are hard, but every story deserves to be told, and is important to us to share our work with you . this dog was tied up in the garden when last week it was bombed nearby, out of fear he continued to pull on his rope until he hurt his neck a lot, his family called us to go and help him because they couldn't transport him, we brought him to our sanctuary’s room emergency and he underwent surgery which brought an excellent result.

A busy day for our team that went up to the border to rescue the abandoned cats. 26 souls were rescued (including a momma cat and her kittens). Most of the cats were quite bewildered by their abandonment and seemed relieved to be rescued. They will be taken into quarantine and made comfortable. Tomorrow the vets team will be busy checking each one carefully. Thank you to those who donated last night to support these cats. There is still time to donate if anyone can help us to help them. You can also donate on these links. Thank you from our hearts.

Good morning, this peaceful video of the sanctuary, does not reflect what we have in our hearts, we are worried, the lease of the farm is about to expire, the owner has increased our rent, we have looked for other farms, but the costs of rebuilding the dog houses. Bibers the horse is old, and moving them all with such short time is impossible for us. we think that at least for another year we have to stay there, even paying more, but at least we will have time to look for a better place, without trauma or stress for our animals. the only trauma now is that the owner has asked us for a year's rent in advance, as a negotiation to not raise the price too much, for this we ask you for a hand please, 🙏 the cost of a year's rent for the farm is: $5400. can you help us please, we need to protect our animals. 3 hours drive from us, war is still being fought. Today Palmyra was bombed and 68 people are dead. No one counts the animals. Because we are not under bombing in Idlib, people have stopped donating and we are facing a huge crisis in our funding. There is no improvement in the lives of the animals in Syria, and without funding we aren't able to help them anymore. We cannot send our mobile clinics out, because we have no funding. We cannot feed street animals because we can't afford to. We cannot send out rescue teams. We have lower donations now than we have ever had and our essential costs are the same now as they were before December 8th when the regime fell. Please, please will you reconsider reinstating your cancelled donations and giving us your support again? Without you we cannot help any of the ones who desperately need our aid. Soon we may need to reconsider our mission in Syria. We have always shared our good and bad news with you. Just now, our options are slowly disappearing.

She was rescued in a state of total shock. we thought she wouldn't survive. instead she's been here with us for two days fighting to stay alive, we don't know what or who reduced her to this state, but she needs our care and your love and support.

today it was on the ground in agony, her former owner with a house destroyed by the earthquake no longer wanted her,we hydrated her immediately and took her away from that place where people thought she was dying, and here she is a few hours later happy walking and eating.
